Cinderella is the story of a girl who is constantly subject to doing housework and chores etc. by her evil step mother.
She goes on to marry a prince and live a happy life afterwards.
Watching it backwards means:
she ends up doing housework and chores etc. AKA "learning her place"
That was a very abridged version but you should get the point.
