Valve announced a new “big picture” mode for Steam at the opening of GDC 2011 today.
It’s essentially going to bring Steam games to big-screen television sets.
They’ve described it as “controller support and navigation designed for television interaction,” to, “enable gamers to enjoy Steam and their library of Steam games on more screens throughout the house.”
More details are expected later in the show.
