[TUTORIAL] How to forward a port using µTorrent!

I had this ingenious idea last night :) (I'm sure some people already know this)
Since I don't know the password to my router, I can't forward ports, so people can't connect to me on games I host on my PC :(

So last night this random idea popped into my head. I tried it, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW!? IT WORKED! :celebrate:


Step 1:
Get µTorrent.



Step 2:

- Go to Options > Preferences > Connection
- Type the port you want to forward in the box that says 'Port used for incoming Connections'
- Press OK and you're done! :biggrin:

This picture shows the port used for Minecraft
To get the IP other people will connect to, go to http://whatismyip.com and copy the IP adress, and add :#### (Port number) on the end.


Enjoy! Extremely useful and easy :)

Luckely for me the router I have forwards ports automaticly xD

But I use my router's IP address to go to the menu and forward ports, but if you forgot it like you did :)E) then this is for ya. <3

You kinda have more control if you know how to get in your router, but I guess this works for opening ports... (although not permanently)

Btw, if you want to check if your port is open, then go here or here and type in your port :tongue:

Well I didn't forget anything... My parents won't tell me the router password.

I set my router password :troll:

But yeah known this method for a few years, but never seemed to work for sa-mp :cry:

tried this before but didn't work but then i did some research and logged into my router
