Filespump was a search engine for Rapidshare, Megaupload and many other sites.


I guess the Anti-Piracy is really starting to get somewhere...
Seeing the following article https://forums.themavesite.com/index.php?topic=6204 & now this.
 
Can they seize any domain? for example .be, .de, .ru etc.. ?
 
The U.S. Immigration and Customs enforcement only has a lawful jurisdiction of the United States. Also I'm quite sure the servers for these sites were located in the United States. How else do they have the rights to take action against them. And it is well known that all sorts of law enforcement agencies with the possible rights are under a great pressure coming from all sorts of Hollywood and smaller film companies (like ACTA joint). Most of the judges actually are involved with the anti-piracy outfits but no-one higher than the internet gives a fuck and these judges still are assigned to copyright cases.

Although there's an exception in the jurisdiction. The United States enforcement clearly pushes strings in Sweden when The Pirate Bay trio was unlawfully judged over.
 
Well, if it's registrated by a domain registrar based on america such as GoDaddy they can take it down cause the domain is "registrated" in america
