[SOLVED] Stereo to 5.1?

Hey,
So I just got a 5.1 sound system, but I was just wondering about something.
I have mp3s which are stereo by default, but I want to have output over all the speakers (6 channels).
I don't want fancy true surround, just that I get music from every speaker.
I've tried searching on google for hours, but couldn't get any good solutions. I've tried different plugins with foobar, wmp classic, winamp and itunes. Also tried some software, but those didn't work :/

There is one solution though, buying a better sound card (have an onboard atm). I'll do that in the future, but in the meanwhile I'd love to have a solution

I think the soundcard is the problem here :/
My soundcard has a driver which has an application (VIA HD Audio Deck) which controls all that.

You could fool your system to 2.1 for your soundcard to nicely output sound to all of them but I've no idea how to.

Is there a device between your pc and the speakers?

No there is no device between them :/

Though I've found something just now =D
It's a nice plugin for foobar2000. I can basicly have up to 18 channels now >.< (and output the same audio track on them)

Thx for the help/suggestions though
