Sign the Petition against the CS:S Update!

The update lags.
There are no respawn mods. (No GG, no DM Surf)
100 tick servers are gone.

Well that's most the things that are good about CSS...
 
It's just horrible :s !!

the game is too unrealistic now !
I bought a 100 tick server extra ip 10.FPS for 75€ ( 3 months ) and now what can I do O.o ? It's just so stupid !! No one asked for that update :( !!
I don't even want to continue playing this game !

That's odd, because last time when I played CS:S, it was non-updated. And I played it last time a week ago, if I remember right.

Fucking TRUST me.. It was way better before. There are so many fucking things wrong with it now.. None of the servers work the way they should.

There's no instant respawn servers anymore because this update broke the mod that allows it. Now when you die, regardless of server or gametype, you'll have to wait for the rest of your team to die before you respawn.

There's no 100 tick anymore so bhopping is terrible, and the servers can't communicate with your PC as fast anymore.

(Barely noticeable) Prettier graphics, whoopee!
Stats (OH WAIT This was already possible with HLStats mod. But now HLStats doesn't work because of the UPDATE)
 
If Valve really is as awesome as you always say it is they must be trolling the whole CS:S generation right now lol!
 
I still love Valve, just they fucked up. (Well they fuck up a lot, but I still love them)

To me, the only good thing about the update is the engine update.

The rest, they basically copied TF2 to try and resurrect a 6-year-old game. The thing is, it really didn't need it. CSS still has millions of players, even CS 1.6 still has thousands.
Where they didn't copy TF2, they took out vital parts of the game which we were all used to.
And to top it all off, THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THE TACTICAL SHIELD. :@

The engine update is the worst... It now doesn't allow LUA so all the server plugins and mods (like deathmatch respawn) don't work, and there is no 100 tick servers now.

Really bad for people who play stuff like Deathrun, Surf and BHop servers instead of just the boring old search & destroy BS
 
Because it's really fun, and I only just discovered bhop servers. If I had played them back before the update it would have been even better though D:
 
I really don't think Valve will take away the update.... And CSS was better before the update because it's been that way for over 3 years, and everyone got used to it. I'm sure there were bugs on all servers when CSS first came out. People just kept fixing it as they went along the years, then the game was close to perfect.
Now that there's an update, the server owners (who are mostly lazy and can't even turn on no-block) need fix all the bugs and make the servers run smoothly. Because I highly doubt Valve will take away the update because servers owners dont want to co-operate and update their servers. I have seen servers that run smoothly...

It's just like SAMP going from 0.2 to 0.3. All owners of the servers needed to update their servers and add the features that 0.3 provided. No big deal.
 
^ They're more likely to put it back the way it was if people stand up and say something about it rather than everyone complaining on their own.
