Wait a second...
1 seems to be smart,
1 was in service of the army,
1 was a doctor
1 was a nurse
1 was a fireman...
Why choose these?

There is a famous saying that those who were born in the 20th century truely know what hell is like, or something like that. They were much more motivated back then, than we are today. They had a war worth fighting, and the moral rewards of fire fighting etc were much greater.

In my opnion such an argument is utter bullshit

Imo no war is worth fighting, war is stupid, especially when the soldiers don't know what they're fighting for, and they never do.
