Regarding "lol"

Someone told me that "lol'd" is gramatically incorrect, if it's not "lol'd" then what should it be?

Of course the word lol'd isn't grammatically correct. The 'd appendix generally means would (best example statement I'd do it).

Since lol shortens for laugh out loud where the verb is laugh and you want to make it say lauged out loud, the most correct way of doing it would be loled
