A scientist claims he can cure HIV by injecting patients with perfume.
Beine Karzhaubaeva from Tolebinsk, Kazakhstan, told the country’s TTK news agency: “It has to be an expensive perfume.”
But AIDS medics have condemned the treatment.
“It is illegal. Injecting perfume in the blood could harm not only HIV patients, but also any healthy person,” said Dr Kozhahmet Mahirov, the head of Kazakhstan’s Centre Against AIDS.
