How would you get a virus, ThePro?

How could you possibly have gotten a virus when
1. the link the bot posted was server-sided
2. the link the bot posted was not doing anything than putting you to the front page
3. server files haven't been infected
4. download runtime bugs cost thousands of dollars if they do exist and they are only available for a day or two before patched

And I thought someone said you were good in technology and software ThePro.
