There's a big difference between hosting illegal files and P2P filesharing. This is a justified takedown if you ask me.
 
The copyright laws there are probably not all stuck up and shit so they can do that

Kinda the same way TPB can get away with all their stuff :P

TPB isn't getting away with their stuff. But I'll have to explain the difference between P2P filesharing and direct infringement as hosting files on the server again? I don't think so.

What TPB does != What TVSHack does

One is illegal, the other one is not. Plus to "get away" like TPB does you need a shitload of publicity first and it has to be a groundbreaking case. It also helps if you become a free internet politician like brokep afterwards.

Antarctica has no laws but there are agreements on the land arrangements. When some illegal site starts operating there it doesn't take more than the senat and a little interference from Canada and the site will be taken down. Also basing a big operation in Antarctica would make no sense since there are no internet lines there. A big site like TPB needs a good backbone or a few of them and needs to be in a well internetized area.
 
Well I know that TPB isn't exactly illegal, I say "getting away with" because they're obviously attracting some legal bullshit from companies that they have displayed on the site, and tons of companies are trying to get TPB taken down
