Not sure where to post it so I decided to post it here :p

Hey,

I'll be getting a new monitor soon, but I do not really have an idea which monitor I want. Though there are some certain specs it must have. It should be ~160 euros (max 200). Should have at least 2 HDMI ports (one for my pc and one for my ps3). It should also be Full HD. I don't really care about the weight. The size should be ~23inch. Since I am not that great of an expert on monitors I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

For the best possible experience, ask /g/
Dem people are awesome, if you know who's trolling and who's not :L

You're already on the right track by looking for something in 1080p.. Only thing I can recommend is a monitor that's a combination of LED+LCD, or a straight LED monitor. (Probably the first one, since strictly LED is expensive).

Mine's LED+LCD, and the picture is AMAZING. I don't notice any light/dark spots like some monitors have on the edges, the screen is super vibrant and bright, and it's very thin. If you can find it, I'd even more so recommend the 23" version of mine;

Excuse me, but LEDs are always LC Displays. There's no Plasma with LED backlight.
LCD = Liquid Chrystal Display, LED only means it uses very small SMD LEDs to light up the screen which is very space and power efficient.

Oh I see. I thought there was 2 types since sometimes they're advertised as LED+LCD, and sometimes just advertised as LED :P
