Although Motorola refuses to confirm that the phone even exists at this point, the Droid X2 is real – and it’s coming in May. In fact, a tech blog called Techno Buffalo somehow managed to get their hands on one. They’ve posted photos and video.

Featuring a 1.2GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, Android 2.2 (might be upgraded to 2.3 at launch), 768MB of RAM, an 8MP rear facing camera with dual LED flash, and a battery that’s supposed to last twice as long as the original, this is definitely going to be the most powerful phone on the market next to the iPhone.

WTF?

The iPhone is actually one of the less-powerful phones in the high-end smartphone market.

It's only running a 1ghz single-core processor underclocked to about 800MHz

And this phone is 1.2 ghz, know many phones with a lot more then that?

My HD2 can even be overclocked with the right software :). And my friend has an iPhone 4, and it seems so small in my hands compared to my 4.3" screen. I haven't even charged my iPod Touch in ages...

Apple's just horrible. As much as I'd like to have a macbook, I don't want to pay full price for one because just like their iPods and iPhones, they're rediculously overpriced for something that isn't even up to the rest of the industry standards.. Yes, the iPhone was sortof the whole 'smartphone age' kickstarter, but since then everyone else has LONG passed them, and most other companies' phones cost a lot less too..

@GP & @Aman;

You guys are right, I'm not far from getting rid of my iPhone 3G, which is slow as hell now btw, and the battery only lasts a few hours...
I'm going to ask my dad if I can have one of his 'old' blackberries.

Is it jailbroken and running 3d theme crap? :/

I wouldn't mind having a new phone though ;)
