Mexican man attempts to float across the border on 50-pound bag of marijuana
The U.S. Border Patrol busted what may have been the most innovative suspect in illegally immigrating into the states of all time. On September 19, a 55-year-old Mexican man was arrested by USBP agents in the Pacific Ocean — just 600 yards from the U.S./Mexico border — and was found using a duffle bag full of ganja as a flotation device.
According to officials, the swimmer was in possession of seven bundles of marijuana, weighing a total of 50 pounds with a street value of more than $23,000.
The suspect is currently in custody.
