Technically, i wasn't back..

I was surfing off of someone's net for about a week.


I got my own net now, so no chance of losing it or getting constantly mac filtered xD
 
Of course, anyone would be confused if i didn't tell you...

Sorry for the bumb.

I'm having bad experiences with the broadband provided by MyCricket.com.

I'm gonna try to switch back to TimeWarner cable.


Reasons:
-My ping is always 200-1600 throughout the day
-My MAX download speed is 100Kb/s
-On bad connectivity, i get 2500 Ping + 3kb/s download.

CDMA / EVDO 3G sucks ass from these people.

I high recommend anyone considering to get Cricket DOESN'T.

Broadband: D-
 
You're a network specialist so think on yourself is 3G connection is going to get you speeds any faster than 50kb/s in most covered areas. I'm currently on a 3G network myself in Finland (provider Sonera) and most parts are nicely covered.

The point is 3G networks are meant for businessmen who are in the middle of a fucking forest and want to make a quick payment. It isn't meant directly for everyday hi-speed hi-bandwidth usage cause that's just no possible. Having to transfer few hundreds of MBs of files in a day, it definitely isn't meant for you. It doesn't provide speed or stability.

Anyways I mentioned my 3G connection. I've got adapters from 2 providers currently, which are:
- Sonera (ZTE stick, ~100kb/s)
- DNA (~50kb/s)

I doubt it's good for anyone..

Takes like.. 1 minute to download a 1MB file -.-

Loading pages takes.. 12 seconds some times.. i doubt it's meant for anyone >.>
 
Jonathan.. read andre's example, it's made for people who are in the middle of nowhere and need to do something quick on the net.
 
Well, I'm pretty sure it's made for loading Windows 98 websites xD
