IGN editor lets slip GTA V next year?

Up to now, Rockstar's still running a guessing game as to whether or not Grand Theft Auto V will be happening anytime soon. Well, it looks like we've got an ally in the person of Jim Reily, IGN editor.

Apparently, he posted a very interesting and curious note up on his Twitter page, which points to a GTA V release by 2012. So said his tweet, "With Grand Theft Auto V and BioShock Infinite coming in 2012, now's the time to buy some Take-Two stock."

It's not a direct confirmation, but it's undeniable how flat-out self-assured he seemed when he made mention of GTA V right there. Of course, yet again, we are hindered from making any conclusions, but as I said before, the evidence we have so far just keeps piling up, it's hard not to think GTA V is indeed coming.

Not much "actual" information though. Just rough estimates and nothing confirmed. I suppose (hope) that they'll start hyping it in E3.

Paul Gottfried I think his name is posted on his twitter he got a role in GTA V, as to whether or not is true is debatable but still id say that GTA V is pretty much confirmed, R* isn't gunna just come out and say it just yet. They will probably drop a teaser at E3 almost 100% guaranteed.

Well yeah a next establishment has always been confirmed in the GTA franchise but people were waiting eagerly for a reveal for last year's E3 as well. But then R* had finishing some other games in mind I suppose. I suppose after L.A. Noire comes out they'll put all the importance on GTA V's campaigns.
