I'm trying to figure out how to make a homebrew (yes, it is legal where I live). I know I have to add yeast to corn sugar, and let it ferment to create carbon and alcohol. With some gap in the container, of course, to make sure nothing goes BOOM. Then add a bit of corn sugar to the bottle your transporting the beverage into, and close it off to let the carbon infest the newly created beer.

What I can't figure out is the amounts.

For mathematical sake, I'm gonna say I have 100ml of corn sugar. How much (in ml) of yeast would I have to add, and how much water would I have to add (to make it about 5-10%)? I've googled and googled but my google skills have failed me D:! Maybe someone can help :3?

Most supermarkets here offer a home brew kit, have you thought about getting one of those instead? Just to make it easier.

Na, 1) I'm underage 2) I'm cheap and 3) The closest supermarket is 60km away.

Also I hear corn sugar tastes bad, would regular sugar work?

Regarding the sugar, you could just do some trial and error, make two batches and see what both of the final results are.
