Far Cry 2 details vs Far Cry 5

Far Cry 2 is one of my favourite open world fps game, always loved it. So ahead of its time back then.

I was trying to play and complete it again, but it didn't quite work on my machine :(

Well that sucks, did you try all the usual stuff like compability mode etc?
 
Yea, I went through many guides but no luck. For other people some solutions worked but of course I was the unlucky one.

Having the same problem with the pirated version of http://store.steampowered.com/app/626610/TT_Isle_of_Man/
Almost nobody seems to have my issue (Game launcher crashes while trying to run the game), and I tried every possible solution available online.
