Yeah, it also has (I think) one of your favorite cars right at the very beginning (The GT)

Also, is this in-game footage?
 
I don't think it's ingame footage cause if you look at Driver 2 (at PSone) the movies were really cool and if you went ingame, the graphics were like 'hmm okay'. Just like Driver 3; wich is besides not a very good game in my eyes :) But I could be wrong.

But I'm going to give it a try ^^

It's all about the fact that Tanner is back.
 
I loved Parallel Lines, but I seriously think they should replace the game engine for the new one.

The big city, the cars, etc. are amazing, but the "Shift system" is dumb indeed. Kinda ruined the realism of the game...
 
It dissapoints me as well, but dont forget, they are focusing on the roots, and he is in a coma and his mind is hyper focused on cars. when the next driver comes out, and his coma is over, then you will be able to get out of the cars, and experience the full free-roam experience.
 
Looks like GTA IV graphics with just a different point of view and system.

It looks cool and all, but still these type of graphics existed in 2008..

Isn't it about the gameplay?
I think the graphics looks just fine. And as he said, it's very early footage of the game
