HostUpon Support Staff will be conducting a RAM (memory) and CPU upgrade on your server Today Fri Sept 26th bewteen 9-11pm PDT.
This upgrade will require the server to be shutdown for approx 30min or less. This is a standard server upgrade so downtime should be minimal. The process will take approx 45min but we give it a 2 hour time frame just to be safe. We apologize for the inconvenience however this upgrade will provide a MUCH faster and robust server. We are doubling the memory on this server and adding an additional processor.
All of your services including your website, email, FTP etc. will be down during the upgrade but will automatically come online once the upgrade is completed. Any mail sent or received will not be lost and will be dispersed once the server is online again.
This is also being done during NON-peak hours so you should really not feel any major effect. This is our first ever upgrade on this server which normally happens once a year so please bare with us as this is for your benifit of course.
