Kk so I just bought Crysis 2 and I want to connect it to my steam account, but I can't find the CD Key anywhere D:

How do I find out what it is???

I heard somewhere that you can make one up... Just type random letters and numbers and it'll work
LMAO.

Right click on the game in your library -> CD Key.

You want to do this, for your convenience:

1. Sign in (don't put the cdkey in the space under the login fields).
2. Go to multiplayer and insert the cdkey when asked.
3. Go back to singleplayer.
4. Go to multiplayer again and insert the cdkey again when asked.

This way, it will store your cdkey, and you will not have to enter it every fucking time you want to multiplayer from now on... Damn bugs.

No No, not what I meant D:

Sorry for being so vague, let me explain:

I bought Crysis 2 limited ed from Gamestop for $60 but now I want to link it to my Steam.
The CD Key they included with the game doesn't work with Steam, so how do I link it???

Well if it doesn't work with steam there is no other way I guess. Just add it as a non-steam game or something?

Yeah, most likely if it's not built to work with steam (In this case, only the Crysis 2 that you buy FROM steam), then it won't take the serial and stuff and you'll have to add it as a non-steam game. Steam will still launch the game for you and the in-game community will still be available, steam just won't track your stats or whatever the hell it does anyway.

That's what it's like for my COD4, I bought the GOTY edition from a gamestop and it's not really designed to work along with Steam, but I added it as a non-steam game and it works fine.
