So, a while back Mave posted about Coursera, a website offering free online courses to those around the world. There are many subjects to choose from, all different time frames and criteria, and most without prerequisites.
I, personally, am doing an Introduction to Logic course currently, but I have also signed up for Basic Behavioral Neurology, Introduction to Finance, Introduction to Genome Science and Introduction to Sociology. I am also doing my Higher School Certificate (which is the certificate all Australian High School students receive should they complete their final year of high school) which provides most of my time taken.
Anyway, if you have chosen to do a course through Coursera, what course have you elected, and if it has started, what is the class like? Do you find it challenging?
Personally, the Introduction to Logic class is simple so far, although the instructors have said that the course should get progressively harder starting from week 3, the week we are currently up to. I might post a few examples of what we've been doing so far.
But yes, share your experiences, friends!
