Computer Upgrades

Alright, so I've got a Dell Dimension E310 (quite a few years old).
I recently purchased this:

(has yet to be delivered)

And also I purchased 1GB Ram a few months ago as well (upgrade from 512MB)

Next thing I want to do is upgrade my CPU, I was wondering:

1. What's my powersupply and motherboard?

2. Can my computer support:

Power supply probably doesn't have to be much if you plan to go small on the processor

2.79GHz 0.99GB of RAM

Fries, if the thing doesn't heat much, go and overclock the pentium 4.. those things are amazing after being overclocked.

My pentium 4 has more cache then my dual core! :O

If you have it working, could you download CPU-Z and post a screenshot of it?

You need to know your motherboard. It's important because of the socket.

I think I have an LGA775 socket but im not sure, I have a Dell Dimension E310

I did a quick search for the Pentium 4 and it says the socket is PPGA478

If you don't know about overclocking you shouldn't do it.

BTW, my pentium 4 has 2MB of L3 cache, yours has only 1MB

EDIT:

you should enable HT

So it was 2 virtual cores, it'll run a little faster.
