Driving a vehicle with the wheel on the wrong side is permitted in every country, but how is that really better except for when you're delivering mail from door to door?

Having the driver seat closer to the middle of the road helps your perception of your vehicle in relation to the street afaik

Also if you try to pass a car infront of you, if you sit more to the middle of the road you can see past the car.
