ɐʎɐɹʇs,
Alrighty, people of TMS. I have decided I am going to build my own computer "workstation".

Has anybody ever of the company Emperor? No? Me neither until I found their website somehow. This company specialises in the creation and building of computer workstations - and their design is what I have based MY design on. Their Emperor 200 and their Emperor 1510 simply look absolutely amazing! But alas, I do not have $35,000 to waste. I don't even have $10 at this current time. So, I want to build myself one cheap.

I am going to document it here, because I am awesome :) I'll probably ask you guys for ideas on it as I'm building, too. First though, however, I need to figure out specifications and shit.

What do you guys think, am I a nutter? (The correct answer is yes, but that's your decision)

I'll try to give you advice the best I can SovareZza. Just post your possible choices and I'll help you decide.
And that Emperor looks a bit silly imo.

Silly? I think it looks awesome :D
Might I ask how you came to this conclusion? :)

To be honest, this concept is ridiculous.

It'd be better if you could lay down on a 45 degree angle, in leather seating, to the left of you, you have a mini insertable(into the chair'ish like thing) table, and to the right, an insertable cup holder, in front of you a set of drawers, containing controllers for multiple devices, and a shelf system to hold ps3,wii, laptop , etc, using a 42'' plasma screen which is holstered into the frame, with all systems using the plasma tv as a monitor.

:megusta: fuck yeah.

none of this curl into a ball shaped chair bullshit that costs 35k

The 1510 costs 45k Canadian and the 200 costs 5k Canadian.

I've already got part of what you said as the design, however. It is to include a table and a drink holder, as they are necessities.

Even look at this design, the screen is too far away from you to be able to look at text (inb4 its for gaming) , but who is going to only use it for gaming, and not want to fb in comfort?

I'd say forget the emperor b/c it's like a mac. You get "style" and overpriced tech. Really overpriced Tech. you can buy 3 1k TV's (which is a lot for a TV right now), wall mounts for all of them, a really comfortable gaming chair, an xbox 360, a ps3 and a gaming pc for less than the cost of the emperor.

I understand this, which is why my father and I are to be building this ourselves for a much, much cheaper price.
Besides, I would have no place to mount the televisions in this house.

I usually use rather small text, the screen is a perfect distance away for me - and I'll be able to still read the screen quite easily.

I know I would never buy this even if I had the money. I'd prefer a normal nice chair with a gigantic screen.
