Boy proves guns safe by shooting self in foot

A 15-year-old boy has proved the safety of firearms once and for all by pointing a gun at the floor and shooting his foot.

The boy in Florida (it's always Florida) had been playing with the loaded 9mm Ruger at a friend's house when he was asked to stop.

But the gun fan insisted on proving it was safe by pointing the weapon at the floor and firing.

Unsurprisingly he shot himself in the foot. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, proving once and for all, guns don't kill people, idiots kill people.
