Pretty much.
I bet apple has the next 3 generations already invented, and they're just waiting and milking the last few sales out of the older devices before they release the new one. I mean come on, they keep adding things to the iPod Touch and keep making it thinner somehow. They obviously have the technology and know how, but are taking it slow to get more money.
