Well guys I got some advice from DanZMan from COD4 when we were chatting about my PC upgrade that I was planning to get. I told him what I was getting and for how much, and he said it was way overpriced on that site (And its true, the stuff I was getting was already like 4 years outdated)
He told me to check out NewEgg.ca, and I can see the prices are cheaper here.

If anyone is feeling really helpful, you're welcome to 'accept this challenge'

Since I'm a NOOB and I don't have the slighest CLUE what I'm doing, try to:
Build a PC as good as you can for me, with these parts (Other stuff I already has)

- Motherboard
- CPU
- GPU
- Power Supply
- RAM
(And make sure everything is compatible obviously)

And if you can, try and keep it under $300, but my max is $350. (That's what my old upgrade plan cost)

BIIIG Thanks to those (if any) that do this :)

The site is:
http://www.newegg.ca/

I got a good site, I don't know if they have a American version but cyber power have really good deals. It's good and I'm gonna get my new computer from there soon

Did you read my post? I'm not looking for a new site. I would like some help actually building a PC.

I suggest you to confirm if that site is legit in first place ;)

It is. DanZMan (COD4 Guy that told me to order from here) ordered from here and got it, and got it fast, and my irl friend ordered some stuff off it. I knew about the site before, but I never thought to check the prices here

i like the idea of the combo packs so yeh but unfortunately ur not gonna get the full PC for just $300-350

Read the first post guys, please. Im just asking for some help BUILDING it, and I have all the parts except for:

If you arent gonna atleast post some things from the site theres really no need to post at all D:

Thanks for all the help guys. It's great that you'd rather increase your post count than help out a community member.

I would help you GP, but to be honest, I don't know that much about PC's :P

I mean software wise, I'm much above average, but hardware wise... That's a whole different story :P

Too bad Remis isn't that active anymore, I'm sure he'd given a great suggestion.

I'll keep Nitronic's in mind, but since I still have a long way to go until I get enough money I'll keep this open for more suggestions :P

It won't be hard to "test" the compatibility between the motherboard and the components, but your budget is $350.

Could you post your current PC configuration? I'm quite sure sadly that for your budget you won't get anything much better than your current system. Even if your system currently is from 2002, with a $350 upgrade you'll be in 2005-2006, neither one is good.

Your whole system literally needs replacing to be honest if it is from 2002 or so, because the newer components won't be compatible.

Okay lol.

Processor - Pentium 4 - 3.0 GHZ SINGLE CORE D:
GPU - nVidia 6800 (Not Bad, and it's never failed me)
PSU - Like 400 or something
RAM - 512MB DDR1
Mobo is built by Dell and nothing fucking WORKS WITH IT.

So you're going to have to get a new computer. $400 won't get anything (much) better what you already have.

Yeah screw it, I'm not gonna be wasting any money on a new PC until I get a job. Most likely I'll save up for more important stuff, like new shoes for the summer and a new hat.

Do I smell new era cap? :T

Yeah GP, I would save up some more cash so that you can really get the BEST stuff.
