Some people have way too much time to think.
Or way too much money to blow on weed.
How does weed got anything to do with further exploration of a storyline?

Because generally when your sober, male, and over the age of... 14? You don't tend to think about old Disney cartoons and their story lines. When high on marijuana, you become much more philosophical at times and ponder the most useless thoughts and things from your past.

Well let's introduce another theory, the "Showering Philosophers", the water induces deep thought to some people creating complex creativity and imagination processes, I do recall a European man, a few hundred years ago sitting in a bath tub, he got an idea, jumped out and ran down the street naked, same theory.

All anyone needs really is the "thought" mood, where they carelessly think about anything and everything.

I can sorta get in that thinking without using anything :P

I know from experience that weed does increase your 'ability' to notice things like this.

How does this work by the way? Am I supposed to think that all (great) artists are actually on drugs?

I believe you mean Archimedes and his 'Heureka' when he thought of density(?)
That was in the 17th century.

How does it work? Iunno it just does. You can't accurately explain what it's like to be high. And no, not everyone's on drugs. But for someone who finds they can't tap into their creativity very often, it's a nice "idea accelerator".

Not a full explanation but a general one. hpV6licCOMw[/media]]

If you try it at least twice (The first time you don;t usually get high), you will understand why it is the most widely talked about plant in the world. Even without using it to get high via the THC content, the uses of its fibres and other properties alone are what makes it so marvellous.

Excuse the misleading reply, he lived around 200 BC and it was when he discovered buoyancy (which is density-related).
