80% of Children Under 5 Use the Internet

According to an alarming report released yesterday by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center and the Sesame Workshop, up to 80% of children under the age of five years old in the United States are using the Internet at least once a week.

This trend seems to be due in part to the rise of devices like the iPad, which parents are giving to their kids to keep them entertained. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing – until the poor munchkins discover 4chan and Something Awful, that is.

Calm down a bit there man, I think we can all agree ARE things on 4chan that <5 year olds really do NOT need to see. For example, even the ads on /b/.
