My review

Went into this movie blind, not even knowing it was a David Lynch movie. Big mistake right there.
Why you ask? Well, I'm not the biggest Lynch fan. This movie is just plain weird. Feels like an experiment Lynch did before he went on to create Twin Peaks. (which is even weirder)

The violence against women, the insanely weird sexual fetishes, the dead bodies standing up straight,... Nope, not my cup of tea.
Also the acting feels forced, at all times. Dennis Hopper's character was unique, I'll admit, I've never seen a mob boss crying for his mommy.
What was good about this movie in my opinion? The score and cinematography. That's it.

Also that ugly cry from Laura Dern almost had me in tears from laughing.
