There are two youtubers who created (or are in the progress of) a Simpsons Hit and Run remake.
Youtuber reubs has finished his project two weeks ago. He remained true to the game as much as possible.
Personally I prefer Spanish youtuber El Gato Del Tejado's more "classic" style, true to the series itself. (he uploads all videos in Spanish and English)
His project is far from done, but I love the detail he puts into everything.

The sad reality is that these projects can never be released as Disney will sue those who do in oblivion.
