Hi there I made a sa-mp website back-up, now Y_less told me that I need
permission for copying the latest news posts

Website : www.themavesite.com/samp

If you don't reply to this email, I suppose you don't care

You've laid copyright on content that you didn't create. The SA-MP license
agreement has always stated that the files may not be mirrored without
permission. There is a good reason for this too: people are still
downloading 0.2.2 R2 from unofficial mirrors that never updated the files.
We want people to be using the latest version of our software.

You can't clone the contents of a book or website without the permission of
the author. The hosting provider of your website specifically forbids
copyright infringement as part of its TOS:
http://www.hostupon.com/tos.html

Occasionally we do send out complaints and sites are taken offline. I also
don't see any purpose to your site if it just clones the information and
files already available on sa-mp.com.

It was just a "backup" for when sa-mp has some downtime again or goes down, anyway, I'll put the website offline

... -.-

Here what I think: WHO CARES! It's the internet, anything that is put online or in any form of digital media will most likely be copied an put on multiple sources without permission, so that's something that the author/creator needs to know.
