Duke Nukem was/is being developed by 3d Realms. They are known for creating games that are revolutionairy for their times. Like Duke Nukem. Also some games which included full level destruction in 2001!

This is Duke Nukem for ever. They are working on it for over a decade now and 3D realms got closed down. But there are still loads of rumors that the game is still being worked on. (private?)
