I could use some help.

This is a song performed by "Madreblu" called "Certamente" and somehow tied to the "Sopranos"
I heard it on the radio and fell in love with it Problem is I cannot understand what the hell is being said and would like to know if anyone can translate this properly, and not with an online translator.

I believe the language is "Italian" I believe the title translates into something to do with Certain or Certainty.

The Sopranos, glad to see you're a man of culture! (time to rewatch the entire series)
Language is without a doubt Italian.
English Translation by an Italian speaker:

Surely it’ll wash over me
Definitely there will be
Almost nothing left
I’ll go back to the truth
But your lingering voice will resound… resound
Clearly it won’t last long
And the eagerness
Will be gone all of a sudden
Sooner or later
It will all vanish from my mind
But your lingering voice… your voice will play
I wait here, I wait
I wait for the storm
For this heat to be over
I can’t sleep
I wait here, I wait
I wait for the storm
For this heat to be over
So I will sleep again
Surely it will wash over me
Suddenly I’ll forget about you
I’ll be back to reality for good
And slowly your voice… your voice will leave this place
I wait here, I wait
I wait for the storm
For this heat to be over
I can’t sleep
I wait here, I wait
I wait for the storm
For this heat to be over
So I will sleep again
